About the property

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This geodesic dome is must see for both travelers and adventurers, alike. Perfectly isolated, yet literally 1 min. off I-15. Equipped and well stocked. Has Starlink wifi. Views, sunsets, stars! Central to National Parks. Bryce 1.5hrs Zion 2hrs Capital Reef 1.5hrs Great Basin 2.25hrs Arches 3hrs Canyonlands 3.5hrs **Please note: we are not done improving the property. Expect a little dust and unfinished areas.** This is a 24’ dome from Pacific Domes! Though we built it with many amenities, there are still some pros and cons to being in a dome that everyone should be aware of. The good: It’s a magical geometric space. You’ll be sleeping on memory foam beds with full sheet and blanket sets. It’s got a well equipped kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and portable induction cooktop. We built a full bathroom with a regular toilet and shower. Full electricity and running hot water. We also stock the place with some food stuffs and snacks! The bad: It’s not great for anyone super sensitive to sounds, temperatures, dust, or wind. The walls and insulation are thin. You will hear the freeway in the distance. And the temperature will not be perfect and consistent. It behaves more like a tent than a conditioned hotel room, even with the heaters and AC we have. This will probably be the best conditioned dome you’ll find, but it’s still a dome. Some wind/air does get in and through the dome. That means things can get a bit of dust here and there. Pollen and other allergens are also going to be present. Though the wind is blocked fairly well, the noise of the wind can be unsettling for anxious types, or potentially hamper sleeping. And we do get some wind out here. Usually a medium breeze that dies down in the evening. Usually just fine for campfires, but occasionally some crazy gusting winds that can last into the night. The structure won’t blow away, but your sanity might. All that being said, as long as you come with the right expectations and a high “adventure” tolerance, you should absolutely love the place.

The dome was a great stop on our road trip! The little loft was cool, and the place felt really spacious.

My daughter, her two dogs and I enjoyed our one night stay at this unique accommodation on our way to Denver. It was conveniently located right off the freeway. The Dome had everything that we needed. And the bed was very comfortable! Blake was quick to respond when we had a question or needed to help with something.

Definitely a good place to stay, it was kind of new experience for us, felt a bit pricey. Maybe due to the holiday season. Will for sure come back again if time permits. Thank you Blake for the wonderful stay.
